日本語案内

HOPEを届ける希望のメディア「HOPIUS」は、「希望」というテーマが環境や文化の影響を大きく受ける性質上、現時点では日本生まれ・日本語話者の方を想定してサービスを提供しています。
しかし2025年の参院選をきっかけに、日本語よりも母国語が得意な在日外国人の方々にできる限り配慮したいとの思いから、Google翻訳をベースとした自動言語翻訳機能をリリースしました。

• 利用ブラウザの言語設定に応じて、自動的に表示言語が切り替わります。
• フッターから手動で変更することも可能です（上図参照）。
• iOS版Safariでは動作しないため、Chromeなど別ブラウザをご利用ください。

もちろん、この機能が在日外国人の方々にとって十分とは考えていません。それでも、現時点で私たちができる第一歩として導入しました。
引き続きユーザーの声や要望を反映しながら、より多くの方にとって利用しやすいメディアを創ってまいります。

English Guide

HOPIUS, a media outlet that delivers hope, currently provides services primarily for Japanese nationals and Japanese speakers, as the theme of “hope” is greatly influenced by the environment and culture.
However, with the 2025 Upper House election in mind, we have released an automatic language translation function based on Google Translate in order to accommodate foreign residents in Japan who are more comfortable obtaining information in their native language.

• The display language will automatically switch based on the language settings of your browser.
• You can also manually change it from the footer (see figure above).
• This feature does not work on iOS Safari, so please use another browser such as Chrome.

Of course, we do not consider this feature to be sufficient for foreign residents in Japan. Nevertheless, we have introduced it as the first step we can take at this time. Going forward, we will continue to reflect user feedback and requests to create a media platform that is more accessible to a wider audience.
